“La Pareja”

Two towers side by side located off Rt. 250 Webster Rd. and Pontiac St. in Webster, NY.

Characteristics: (Larger) Spherical top with hardware/wire, faded teal/rust coloration, text (WEBSTER) / (Smaller) Conical top, smaller in diameter, metal panels more evident, text (VILLAGE OF WEBSTER) on east facing side, light rust, faded off white coloration.

Details: Both towers are situated in a residential area surrounded by a large barb-wire fence. From the ground halfway up is visually obstructed by large trees. Best viewing is from Pontiac St. or as Webster Rd. (250) turns into South Ave.

  1. Just posted about these old friends on Facebook. They are seated in my deepest childhood memories as they were a constant towering presence out the living room window. I cannot hep but think of them when home is called to mind.
